I suggest you put Liberty Station on your list of San Diego attractions. It is a blend of retail, food and specialty shops, still being developed. Each visit, 3 in all, there have been additions and they are still growing. The architecture has been preserved...More

There are many specialty shops, restaurants, and special events at Liberty Station. There is a farmer's market as well. There is a brewpub as well. Just walking thru is a walk thru history to understand what it was like to attend the Navy Boot camp.

Liberty Station is fairly new and hopefully still growing? Some great places to eat a variety of food choices but my favorite is Wicked Lobster. Lobster roll is the very best of the best on the West coast! The market Place still needs some developing...More
