What a great game, experience, fun group of people who work hard to help inspire young people. The park is beautiful. Functions perfectly and an enjoyable experience

Had great seats to watch the game. The weather was perfect.... as it always seems to be in San Diego. Great experience.

Gorgeous setting, amazing food, and the ballpark is old school. Of course the food is outrageously priced, but so is the food st any ballpark. I'd suggest the sweet sausage or kielbasa- big and plentiful.

Went to the Padres /Tigers game this weekend lovely stadium , well designed , neat and clean , hot dogs were not that great , nice stadium to watch a game

This is a great place to see a game. Sect 110 sits next to the Omni club and everyone for 3 sections comes down your aisle and ruins your view. Otherwise - great place to see a game.

This my first MLB game and what a stadium. it was a great atmosphere and the locals were so much fun. I even got to experience some of the food and many of the drinks.

I can't think of a better one. I really like Orioles Park in Camden Yards and Safeco Field in Seattle, but they are not better than Petco. Petco has the greatest areas for kids - the sand box play area; the little miniature field out...More

We're visiting ballparks all across the country. This was our first visit to Petco Park. Wow! While it lacks the charm of the old stalwarts like Wrigley and Fenway, it makes up for it by offering the most food and beverage choices I've ever seen,...More

Is it safe to walk to Petco Park (and back to my hotel) for an evening game? I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown which doesn't look too far from Petco. Thanks!

We have done this option before from the same hotel and I would say walking to the game in the early evening is OK but after the game I would walk out to the Gaslamp area and get a cab. The walk to the park is all downhill... More

Hi. Coming from New Zealand and want to take my kids to a game. I see that they have lots of kid events on the Sunday but do they normally have good crowds on those days? Or are Fridays and Saturdays normally the busiest? (they are playing the Marlins when we are there). Thanks

Sunday would be fine. It's never too crowded. I prefer afternoon games. Have a wonderful time in San Diego.

The season may be over but they still offer tours of the ballpark twice a day. Once at 10:30 and again in the afternoon. I believe it's $15 per person.
