Have been a Padres season ticket holder for a couple of years and I've seen the park grow. Even before becoming a member I was attracted to the amount of things available besides just baseball. The park offers great food and a variety such as...More

The Hotel is five minutes from Petco Park so it is a great place to stay if you are going to a baseball game.

From the multitude of restaurants to the ocean view, this stadium has more than just baseball to offer. It's central location adjacent to many hotels, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the trolley station means you can have other adventures before and after the game.

Attended the Texas Rangers - San Diego Padres series and was very impressed by not only a beautiful ballpark but the very friendly staff ( the ushers, security staff & the venders). There is truly not a bad seat in the park. Don't forget to...More

Being downtown this is a great park. Not too pricey and in a vibrant neighborhood next to a lot of hotels.

Me and my wife travel to many ballparks and Petco is among the best. Beautiful views and a concourse that was impeccable in its looks and the variety of foods that it offered. Bring a sweatshirt because it can be very chilly at times.

Beautiful ballpark to watch the Padres! Lots of food and beer options. Area is in a safe location and convenient to the Gas Lamp District pre/post games!

Is it safe to walk to Petco Park (and back to my hotel) for an evening game? I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown which doesn't look too far from Petco. Thanks!

I would Not do it to 2 reason. First it is far walk from Petco. And 2nd a lot of homeless all over. We are season holder tickets for the Padres and are down there a lot. At one point we were considering buying a condominium... More
Hi. Coming from New Zealand and want to take my kids to a game. I see that they have lots of kid events on the Sunday but do they normally have good crowds on those days? Or are Fridays and Saturdays normally the busiest? (they are playing the Marlins when we are there). Thanks

Sunday would be fine. It's never too crowded. I prefer afternoon games. Have a wonderful time in San Diego.
Hi, will there be any games on at the beginning of November? Thanks in advance 😊

The season may be over but they still offer tours of the ballpark twice a day. Once at 10:30 and again in the afternoon. I believe it's $15 per person.
