It's worth sitting in your car for 15 - 20 minutes with your hazards on in order to snag one of the few free parking spots. Otherwise, it is $20 for a day pass.

A nice and family friendly beach in La Jolla. Lots of parking. Playground for the kids. Restrooms and shower available. Nice for a relaxing walk.

Great for large families this is a clean nice beach I love that no dogs are allowed here that may not be the case for others but I love this beach and go there often

Mission Beach and Pacific Beach (just walking distance north of Mission Beach) are just as good as Torrey. Enjoy.
