Coffee centres not equipped for large crowds

Meals during our conference were executed well. But coffee breaks and cocktail hours seemed overwhelming, not enough staff or good setup to serve 100s of people quickly

Attended a 3 day conference. Conference Center employees were very accommodating and helpful. We did not stay local but the drive was easy and parking was simple. There was a FedEx center within the center which was great for getting materials copied and items shipped.

A very large nice facility right in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Staff are friendly and escalators to upper levels. Plan on doing some walking as this place is vast. Beautiful views from the rear of the San Diego Bay and sunsets there!

I attended a large conference here. It was an extremely large conference, but it never felt too crowded or busy. There were lots of rooms for breakout sessions. The main hall for all of the vendors was well organized and spacious. The view of the ocean from the backside was incredible.

You cannot miss this center. It's a huge modern structure between the old Gaslamp quarter and the sea shore and Seaport village. Striking architecture reminding me on Calatrava's Science museum in Valencia.

Doesn't every city have a big new convention center? Probably. Well the San Diego Convention Center is certainly in a perfect place for visitors. There are restaurants and hotels galore. All of them over priced for sure but some of them are worth the investment. There are million dollars views from the waterfront side of the building. There is decent... More

Great place, very clean, extra large rooms and lots of space for larger events. I thought the food was average, nothing to brag about. Starbucks is available but line was so long !! overall great place would totally recommend it for business conventions.

Located on the water with large promenade along the water. Views of Coronado, walking distance to several nice hotels and The Gaslamp district with many good dining options. Also convenient public transportation on site.

My third time to this venue and my rating is still the same! While certainly clean and attractive, the place "walks you to death"!no matter which hotel you use. Catered lunches are filling but unimaginative. Staff is ok, not great. We did have one played breakfast that was a 4 for this type venue. Very few places to get refreshments... More

I had no business inside this convention center, however, had an opportunity to have a glance on this huge building. This seems pretty large with huge parking place and is rightly placed close to the downtown San Diego.
