Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small park adjacent to the water and is a favorite spot for kite surfing by local folks. We spent hours sitting and watching the surfers. An afternoon of entertainment which we thoroughly enjoyed. You can bring a chair and sit on the edge of the water and watch as they fly overhead. Great way to spend a day out and get lots of fresh air.

Parrish Park is not a traditional park. It is a strip of sand just past the bridge where you can park and play in the shallow river waters. I have sat out there many times and enjoyed the water, I have seen puffer fish, horseshoe crabs and millions of birds. People love to go there to kayak and jetski, and the windsurfers adore a windy day. On the weekends, get there early to get a good spot. It is free, and some people don't respect the land and it shows. It's a nice spot to picnic, have a beer, and be a kid.

You can fish at this park, just walk around or go to the park area. We park there and then walk over the Max Brewer Bridge watching the dolphins in the water. When it gets warmer you can see the manatees there with their babies

We visit the park often to go kayaking, fishing, wind surfing, and to experience night launches. There are restrooms and a paved boat launch by the bridge. Best to launch a kayak near the dirt road.

We stopped because we saw kite surfers and wanted to get some pictures. There's plenty of parking right off the road. It was fun watching the surfers come right by the shoreline and make the kites pull them out of the water and land again. There were some horseshoe crabs mating along the shore. It was a nice relaxing stop.

Lots of parking and 3-4 boat ramps. Couple sea walls and the Brewer bridge. Lots of shoreline fishing opportunities. I caught a couple small ones.

There was a good breeze blowing while we fished off of the concrete wall, beside the boat launch in the Park. Plenty of picnic table seating with roofs; bathrooms were maintained well; however, the trash bins in the park were over flowing and birds had scattered trash over the lawn.

There’s nothing like the breeze at a park on the water in Florida. This is just a great place to sit and bird or people watch. They have a boat launch there and places to picnic on the “beach.”

I just swung in there. im more of a beach person myself. but the beach is way on out there. this is a a great activity for those folks that don't want to drive that far. its closer to town. people were fishing with poles and nets. looks very shallow. people were jet skiing. and other social activities. its right next to a very steep bridge where people were walking along. im gonna have to do that next time in. looked like a fantastic place to take the family as a substitute.

I've been to Parrish Park many times. There are plenty of spots to fish, ramps to launch boats, tables for picnics/outings, and great views of the river. A few miles east and you've got NASA and amazing opportunities for bird watching.
Just a fair warning for those with young kids...Friday and Saturday nights can get fairly crazy, especially in the summertime. By that I mean there are a lot of younger folks out there who like to show off their cars and drink in the parking lot. They can get a bit rowdy and police have been called multiple times to thwart their antics.
