White Cedar Swamp is an important natural area on Cape Cod, but for anyone who has seen swamps in the southern part of the U.S. this is definitely a little brother. I grew up near the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge in Southern Missouri and this...More

We have enjoyed this hike since our boys were about 5 and 8, now 17 and 20. The terrain is all beautiful, and it's an easy and relatively short hike down into the swamp and back up, though not for the disabled due to steps....More

Whilst the swamp had somewhat dried up it was however a lovely cool walk on a hot day that had been nicely done with good paths and a raised walkway though the "swamp".

In addition to some regular trails, the elevated boardwalk (wheelchair accessible!) were really cool as they wound through the swamp. Great activity for an overcast, foggy day- and even spookier!

White Cedar Swamp is a great fairly short hike. Great for all ages! Looking at the trail map (they have a box where you can get one when you arrive) there's one side of the trail that is a straight shot and one that is...More

My husband said whomever laid the trail out did a good job. It was downhill mostly starting and level / slightly elevated going back. The trail loops around so no backtracking. Most of the signs to read about trees and such are missing. Big bug...More

This a very short trail and is well marked. About halfway through there is an area with a bench - at this point the scenery is so cool. Some of the reviews mention it being like middle earth and that description is as good as...More

It is not on the ocean side of parking lot, that is interesting as it relates to history of Marconi. On the other side of parking lot past the picnic area is the trail. You have to walk a long time on a normal forest...More
