We have a blast.... what a beautiful place! You have to go in the truck for the tour of the island. Keith was the tour guide and he was amazing and full of the history of the island! We well definitely be back!

We spent the day on quiet beaches. Make sure you go to beaches on both sides. The water was warm and fun and we got tons of really large shells. Camping on the island was primitive but priceless! We will definitely go back.

The walk up the light house is well worth the view. You can see for many miles. The climb is fairly easy & there is also a trail out to the beach. This week it was free but normally it's 8.00

The lighthouse was closed for the season. My main reason for going over to the Island was to tent camp. It was awesome.

Yes, you still have to climb out of thew ferry and step down into it. As for your mobility scooter, I don't think it would even fit on the ferry we took. The ferry was not very large. They do have larger ferries but you... More
