we got the free ferry with the locals and took some amazing pics. We could of paid but why pay when you can see it for free in a ferry . took an hour in total there and back but truely worth it

Use the ferry to go by the statue and see it for free. If you want to step ashore at the statue, you can do that. If you want to climb the statue plan on reserving months in advance.

Very well organized cruise - they are pros at what they do. We visited Liberty Island & did not get off at Ellis island. You get to see Lady Liberty up close.

Took the ferry to the statue of liberty then onto the island, never got off the ferry but was a nice trip seeing it and got great pictures

We took a helicopter trip to see the Statue of Liberty and were not disappointed. If you’re in 2 minds about visiting it then don’t be, you should do. If you get the opportunity to do it from the air then I’d definitely recommend this.

You can buy tickets in advance 6 months on the official online website. For example, today is in February So, they already put the tickets in July for sale as of now. The tickets go up to the crown will be sold out quick... More
