The general public has not been allowed to enter the New York Stock Exchange since 9/11, so the only thing to see here is the building's exterior. Even that was difficult the day I came by, because a huge blue banner emblazoned with "elastic" covered...More

People come here for photo ops of the World's power house, not much one can do and see (I did not feel of going inside to see anyway). I was happy (including many hundred tourists on the street) to be able to just get a...More

I was there on the weekend and didn't go in. Honestly, there wasn't much special about it, Probably need to do it on a week day when people are working.

Today a new company joined the stock exchange so it was busier than usual on the outside with everyone taking pics from said company. A great building to look at. I don’t envy the folks working in it though. What a stressful job :p. Well...More

Its historic. If you are going to walk the city, check it out. But it is a brief stop. Its just an outside view of the building. I liked the best part where we could see George Washington's fist address at. Wish we could see...More

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.

I was told by a reliable source you can go inside for around a $2000 donation, to what I don't know, and I have no idea how you go about this. I have been inside the exchange before 9/11 and I cannot say it is worth $2000.
