Visiting NYC with my 6 year old, stopped to play at the Ancient Playground before the Met opened. Neighborhood kids are friendly and the playground is perfect for ages 4 - 9.

Tried to visit yesterday but it is closed for renovations, unsure how long for sorry. There are other playgrounds nearby which were good for our toddler.

This playground is really cool! It's designed with an ancient Egypt theme and is a perfect companion playground to the Met. There are these tunnels in the pyramid that kids can crawl through. The tunnels lead to a big ladder that goes up 6 feet...More
