Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Avenue of the Americas was formerly known as Sixth Avenue. In fact, most of the population of NYC still calls it Sixth Avenue. Traffic on this street runs north, or "uptown." The Avenue of the Americas has many features, such as Bryant Park, a well-known gathering place for New Yorkers. The Avenue of the Americas has a dense population of corporate headquarters. Easiest way to get there is by Subway.

Avenue of the Americas, also known as 6th Avenue, is an amazing street. It's wide and, at least on the day we were there, it is full of a huge number of vendors selling food, food and more street food! A wide variety of eats to satisfy every taste!

My wife and I took a Sunday stroll up 6th Avenue this afternoon. It was very quiet on a Sunday compared to the rest of the week. We snapped a picture of a newly constructed high rise along 6th Avenue in the high 50's streets.

New York's 6th Avenue serves as the backbone to Bryant and Greeley Square parks, as well as many stores.

Sixth Avenue is the place to take a stroll on a Sunday morning. The coffee shops, the bakeries, the shopping, and Bryant Park! We even saw the Seinfeld food truck! So many sights to see!

We love the decorations put up in the city. It’s a nice place to walk and just look at the buildings and window shop and of course always know it is going to be hustling and bustling with lots of people!!!

Sixth Avenue is a very scenic Avenue. There are plenty of tall buildings, restaurants, stores, Radio City, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, hotels, etc. Very walkable during off hours. Very scenic, very upscale, not as fancy as 5th Ave, not as high traffic & gritty as 7th Ave.

We walked down here a few times on our recent trip. Its cleaner and less grittier than say 7th or 8th Avenues. If you want to see skyscrapers, this is for you. Its also where a lot of Fortune 500 companies have their headquarters.

Sixth Avenue is generally quieter than 5th but we found it much nicer and easier to walk down. Many iconic buildings are located on 6th and if you prefer an easier stroll to Central Park then take the Avenue of The America’s

My friend and I walked uptown along 6th Ave in the early evening during the week. A sea of commuters rushing to Penn & Grand Central.
