Times Square is great. Tons to do and see here. Food shopping and entertainment all in the same place. This is a very busy place. Thousands of people everywhere. We always felt safe in this area. Police presence is high here. Definitely recommend Times Square....More

Driving through NYC can be a nightmare, it is very busy with Taxies and emergency vehicles. One option is to get the subway to Time Square, there is a lot to see there. Also you can get one of the Guided Bus Tours. Parking is quite expensive. I was staying in NYC so I walked everywhere. Perhaps park on the outskirts maybe an option, and use the subway.
