I prebooked my tickets to pedestal access at Statue of Libery online and it worked a treat. Turned up at time and showed my pass on the phone and I was in. No fuss and straightforward, that's the way I like it.

Don't run straight to the vessel... You have to pick up your tickets from the Clinton Castle building before boarding (and don't forget ID to pick them up). As a result of me forgetting this fact I made it just in time for the 09:00...More

To get to the Statue of Liberty you need to catch this boat which stops at both Liberty and Ellis Island so you can get on and off at both as you ferry between Manhatten island and them. It’s a nice ferry with lots of...More

The tour was fun and a must in my opinion. Try to get the Crown or Pedestrian Tickets as they offer you entry to either the Lady Liberty’s hat or the fort area the statue stands on which is pretty cool. They do sell out...More

We were there in Feb. and it was not crowded. In sept., school is back in , so there should be that big a crowd. Also be aware that you go through security before the boat and again before going into the statue. Arriving at... More
