Если вы поедите на остров Эллис смотреть на статую свободы то непримените посмотреть на стену памяти эмигрантов,на ней запечатлены более 700000 имен эмигрантов разных поколений.В настоящее время любой натурализованный американец за символическую(для америки)плату в 150 долларов может на основании документов внести имя своих предков или свое в данный список

Très émouvant ;la détermination de ces familles qui ont espérées une vie meilleure si loin de chez eux;pour la plupart qui ont réussis à améliorer leur vie pour eux et leur descendance.

Sem dúvida muito melhor que a Estatua da Liberdade. Encontrei o nome de minha familia neste mural. Sem dúvida vale a visita se voce estiver na Ellis Island. E a vista de NY, muito linda.
