We went for a few drinks with friends visiting from Vancouver and each had two drinks. Zack , the bartender, made the most amazing drinks. I said bartenders choice and he delivered. What a tour de force of cocktail artistry he demonstrated! The Betty Davis...More

Located in the cellar below Yopparai, this is a favorite of the cocktail crowd. Often a wait, especially on the weekends. Noisy but not overwhelming. Great staff. We had a selection of cocktails and 3 of the 4 were outstanding. "Hot Spot" was a bit...More

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Nitecap during our recent 4 night stay in the lower east side. Great drinks and service and setting. Danny, the door guy and host is awesome.

A super small spot in the LES where every cocktail has a minimum of 10 ingredients, 9 of which you can't pronounce. It's nice for a drink when you want to chat with friends but can get boring as it's quite small and quiet.

We stopped by for a couple of drinks after a meal on a Thursday, about 10:30pm and were able to get a seat straight away. The atmosphere was good, plenty of groups talking to themselves rather than a party vibe. Cocktails were of a high...More

We stopped in here for pre-dinner drinks on a Sunday night - arrived right at 6 pm when they opened, which was good. The place is small and will fill up quickly, and getting there early allowed us the chance to chat with the bartenders...More

The interior - I loved every small detail, from the owl-wall-clock to the vintage-diner-style-booths. Music - really good choice!! A very extensive list of cocktails - was very impressed!! I looked through these pages and pages of menu and got a little confused but the...More

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving
immigrant past and its modern transformation into a
beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side
is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city.
The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next
to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment
