The only way to see Central Park, great fun and a little light exercise is exactly whats needed after a few days in the big apple. Our 4 year old however was less impressed that they did not had a suitable 2 wheeler for him, and he had to use a tag along behind me, not sure they realised that... More

My family and I used a bike hire for 3 hours to see Central Park (it was included in our New York pass). It was a great way to see the whole park and the process was easy.

Located one block from Central Park, this bike rental company was easy to deal with, and the bikes provided to the four member of our family were in good overall shape. Kind staff and efficient service made our experience positive.

Booked the bikes online for a 4 hours ride, which was a good deal since you pay less if you book them in advance. Bikes were in good shape and they provide you with a helment, a Central Park map and a chain to lock them in case you want to walk on the pedestrian paths.

It was very convenient for Central Park, just yards away. It was just what I wanted, easy to arrange, bike suitable for a round trip of the Park. Organisation good and efficient.

This tour was very well organized. Stan, the tour guide was friendly, informative with a great sense of humor. He was able to answer all questions about the park and helped several of us afterwards with questions about NYC sites. Highly recommended!

We went on this tour when it was freezing cold. There were about 12 on the tour. The staff in the office and the guys who got our bikes ready were as icy as the conditions outside. Very unfriendly staff. Our guide was mediocre and didn't have many interesting stories to tell us about Manhattan or Central Park. We stopped... More

I booked this tour in October. The day of the tour it rained but I never got any communication from the company. I called and emailed several times that day. I have also called and emailed since and have yet to receive any response. An answering machine answers when I call and I left a few messages but again no... More

We visited Central Park for a bike tour on the first morning of our trip. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and willing to take photos which as a couple was really good as we found it difficult to get photos of the both of us together at other times. We were only there for 6 days and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
