The park includes, on one end, Hope Garden - a memorial to AIDS victims - and on another, the ferry that'll take you to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, not to mention a number of other memorials and monuments scattered in between.

The park is immaculately kept, is safe and gives great views over the Hudson and to liberty. I love it in the winter. Each season brings out different things but winter brings out the Browns, the pathways, the stunning river views. We love a stop...More

This is a beautiful well tended Park and worth a visit. It's steeped in History, so do your research before you go, to fully appreciate it. There are quite a few impressive statues and memorials, as well as a Carousel for children. Also this is...More

I found this park just "blah"; mostly occupied by people who were in line for the Statue of Liberty and tons of food tents. There isn't much to see there other than walk around, buy nuts and look at Lady Liberty from afar. Parking is...More

My friend and I wanted to stop here so we could get some cool pics of the Stature of Liberty. We were also killing time before we could get into One World Observatory. It was a pretty cold day but we still managed to walk...More

A great public park at the southern tip of Manhattan. Opportunities to walk, run or bike on the path or simply enjoy the view of the river or Statue of Liberty while sitting on a bench. Sea Glass carousel is located here that would be...More

The main reason to be here is to head over to the Statue of Liberty on the ferry. In the whole it’s a nice green area with lots of art work and plenty of places to kick back and enjoy the day.

There should be several parking garages near the World Trade Center that you can Google. The Staten Island Ferry terminal should be within reasonable walking distance.
