Located on the East side of Central Park, this fun statue of the Alice in wonderland characters is at larger than life scale. It is well worth seeking out for a picture and when we visited was pretty quiet.

Beautifully done sculpture for children to climb on or adults to reflect on childish memories. You may have to wait to get a pic without people around, but going earlier in the morning would help. There are benches all around to sit, relax, and people...More

Super nice spot and really cool statue. Lots of kids (and adults) climbing on it. Very cool history and not too far from the east main entrance.

Just worth it. Get up early and stroll through the park. The weather was amazing and it was very quiet so we could really just walk around. We would definitely go back just to see the park again.

This is a great statue, but be patient. There are a lot of people who want their photos with it. It’s worth it though. There’s also plenty of places to sit and lock up your bikes.

Walked to the statue last week and our teenagers from California loved it. It has a nice bronze color and the design is well done.

One thing I learned about central park is that it really does not have a theme. Any random statue could pop up along your route. This one is pretty big and Alice in Wonderland themed. One son thought it was pretty cool, and ran right...More

Both previous answers are useful as far as they go. However, there are two lines passing through the 77th St & Lexington station; the already mention 6 train as well as the 4 train, so that may increase your options... More
