Came back to NYC and did another photo safari with Zim. Did the Brooklyn Bridge safari and really enjoyed learning more about photography and am looking forward to doing the World Trade Center safari at some point. Can't recommend a photo safari with NYCPS enough. Really talented instructors, very good way to see NYC and become a better photographer for... More

Was in NYC while my wife attended a conference, had a day to kill so I booked the Photo Safari. I am glad I did. It was a perfect day, Zim the guide was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Zim took the time with each of us (5 in total), to offer constructive criticism over our photos, and tips for making... More

I absolutely loved the Photo Safari-- it was as fun and educational as the other reviewers mentioned. Zim went over and above to make sure we got what we wanted out of the workshop.

More

My son and I were "entertained" by Zim in Central Park on the NYC Photo Safari! She is not only a great photographer who is full of excellent advice but she has a great sense of humour. There were many tips that I will treasure as I continue to explore my photography at home and on my travels. Having fun... More

So I signed on to Photo Safari to have some fun & learn some interesting angles to take pictures. What I received was far more important. Zim, my instructor has the patience of a saint. We spent time on how to hold the camera, change lenses, filters, camera bags, camera straps, exposure settings, white balance & about a million other... More

Zim freely hands out advice on how to make your photos great. She has a wealth of professional experience that she shares. She is direct, lively and well versed in how to get great images. I would recommend this to any level of photographer.

I have booked for an evening photo safari around the Brooklyn Bridge. Our guide / photographer was Zim and the group was composed of 6 photographers who were keen to learn and improve their photography skills. The booking online was easy with great communications to find the departing location. Zim was not only a great guide of NYC but she... More

My son and I had the pleasure of Zim teaching us some great tips on photography and highlighting not just what to take but how to take some great photos. You may think you know how to take a good photo but until you spend time with a professional such as Zim it becomes apparent how much more you can... More

Really a terrific outing, for both beginners and seasoned photographers, no matter if it's with a cellphone or a DSLR! Zim was terrific in guiding our mixed group of 5 around various landmarks in mid-town Manhattan, getting iconic shots of classic NYC locations--this tour focused on Grand Central Terminal, the NYC Public Library, the Chrysler Building and other spots out... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
