We loved our tour with the very knowledgeable Alison learning so much about the area (3 neighborhoods) and food! It's great to be on foot to see this bustling part of Brooklyn. We tasted some unique things. It was a fun way to spend a sunny day, and I highly recommend it!

Took the Craft Beer Crawl in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Had a really great time. Fab range of craft beers and venues. Astrid Cook was a super host: knowledgeable; enthusiastic; and professional. She even flexed the final stop so we could take in a bean-to-bar, artisinal chocolate maker as well as the beer garden next door. Excellent afternoon in a cool neighbourhood.... More

We had a wonderful time in Brooklyn walking, eating and talking. Our guide Josh was knowledgable and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I loved walking through the different neighborhoods and experiencing the different flavors and cultures.

My wife, two adult daughters, and I took the Brooklyn Brownstone Eats tour. It was an enjoyable experience. Urban Oyster booked the tour for us on Labor Day (which was super considerate) and our guide, Brian, was knowledgable, experienced, and a good conversationalist. All of the tour stops were fun, interesting places, with delicious food samples and drinks. Brian shared... More

The guide (Joe) was fantastic and made the tour so interesting and entertaining. Our group of 4 were all very pleased with the tour and the food was super good. It was a super hot day and Joe accommodated by buying extra bottled water and changing things up a bit so we could get out of the heat on the... More

Absolutely fantastic day out! Our tour guide Astrid was amazing, she was so knowledgable and such an interesting person. I took my partner for his Birthday and he loved the different craft beers and learning about them. There was also food included which was great! Mainly it was brilliant to see a different part of New York and Astrid gave... More

Our guide, Josh Rogol , made this adventure, encompassing history and delicious food, absolutely entertaining. Fortunately the other members of this tour also added to the enjoyment including a young boy. I would highly recommend this tour to those who would like to visit a piece of Brooklyn to see how the past plus current eateries have survived . Try... More

This experience was awesome! Lived in Brooklyn for majority of my life and decided it's time to explore more. This tour (Brewery Tour in Brooklyn) showed parts of Brooklyn you'd never think to visit on your own because...well it's mostly "industrial" and all the gems were hidden. We tried many different beers, 3 different types of pizza (EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS)... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
