Fun- but get there early and be prepared to wait

This was super close to our hotel, it was fun to walk down and see the anchors. If you want to be in the crowd on TV, arrive early and be prepared for a wait- 6 am probably!

Got up early to get on TV! So cool to see Robin,George, Laura and our favorite Ginger in person. Worth getting up early and standing there. Got on TV. My Son graduated from Valpo like Ginger Zee. We took our Valpo flag along and not only did she acknowledge it, we got a picture of him with her!!!! That was... More

SO MUCH FUN!!! Way more FUN than I expected. Well organized. WELL ORGANIZED. Friendly security. Friendly staff. I wish more/all events were as well organized and welcoming. Funny off air host. The artist: Adam Lambert - the best! Perfect. I would go back again anytime if I am ever in NYC again on a summer Friday. THANK YOU for a... More

We grabbed a drink from Starbucks pulled up a chair in times square and sat and watched all the fun going on as they filmed good morning america. The show came out onto the street and filmed for a little while. Lots of fun to watch but you need to be up early

If you're a fan of GMA and you are in NYC, this is a must! We grabbed a cup of coffee at our hotel and walked over to 44th Street and Broadway, across from the Hard Rock Cafe, and really enjoyed seeing all the comings and goings of the Good Morning America News Team. We were lucky to see Michael... More

It was wonderful being there. They make sure everyone can see and hear. The security is very nice and not rude trying to get people out of the way. The anchors even came out and said hello. What a wonderful experience.

I liked seeing the anchors work on the set. I was standing outside, in the cold. Ginger came out two or three times for a few minutes each time. It's really not possible for her to spend much time with the audience. She seems shy, but very nice. Just as beautiful in person as she is on camera. I spent... More

My daughter built a poster board and we walked from the hotel around the corner and she was able to get her on TV. This made her trip. We saw the hosts thru the window and they waved and Micheal even came out and said hi to the crowd.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
