One of my favourite parts of New York City, it feels like a real community rather than the touristy and commercial areas further north. Love to see the markets set up and the range of good produce available. It transforms the whole area

Just a quick walk through the market but we saw a lot of very good looking and tasty stalls selling food and drinks , bought some bread from a New Jersey bakery which was ridiculously tasty.

I was lucky to pass by on the day that the Farmers Market was being held. LOTS of food stalls, with free tastings. I really liked the spinach and garlic that the lady was sautéing on her burner - but didn't have access to cook....More

There are tons of vendors but it’s hard to justify the prices when they make Whole Foods seem cheap.

The Union Square Greenmarket is NYC's largest! This is my favorite market as it features local farmers from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. The market is open 4-days per week and if you go early enough you can avoid the crowds and get...More
