Went to see the Klimts and came away with a major appreciation of a jewel-box of a museum. The gallery with the Klimt paintings was an experience that would make a trip to NYC worthwhile, but; when you throw in the gallery of design and...More

In addition to the fabulous Klimt's there is a new show introducing Richard Gerstl, an early abstract espressionist painter not widely known outside of Austria. This show is not to be missed. I also had an excellent lunch at the Sakorsky café in the style...More

Came to see Adele of course, like everybody else, but was impressed with the other Klimts as well and other paintings, like Egon Schiele, talking about a sad story. With the entrée reduced to $10, as there was a floor closed, we could not complain....More

This was our first visit here and was highly recommended by an artist friend. The gallery is small but holds a lot of amazing art! The house itself is wonderful. There is a restaurant in the basement with delicious food. This is a must see!

Great museum, a few blocks from the MET exhibiting twentieth century German and Austrian art and design. Their permanent holdings includes the golden Klimt 'Adele Bloch-Bauer'.

If you have seen Woman in Gold, you owe it to yourself to visit here. The Portrait of Adele Block-Bauer (Women in Gold) far exceeded my expectations. It is stunning. There were a few other Klimt paintings that were beautiful as well. Part of the...More

Don't bother unless you are prepared to throw away your EMPTY water bottle and 10 steps later be told that you need to cloak your bag anyway. Even the airlines are not this ridiculous! Poorly coordinated security measures and unhelpful staff make this experience arbitrary....More

I very much enjoyed walking through and seeing the Klimt housed in one room. As there was not a special exhibit the entrance fee was reduced. The cafe was superb. A coffee and cake delicious

We had free passes, but I just checked online and it's $20 or $15 for seniors. It is definitely worth every penny supporting the unique gallery.
