Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

We have seen the Circle Line Boats over the years and decided to accompany family visiting from Europe. Everything about this cruise was wonderful! The boat was very comfortable, and the staff were great, especially the guy who did the commentary. We learned so many things about our home town, and the views were gorgeous. There is usually a 2... Seeing NYC from the water view was absolutely beautiful. I took a 2.5 hour cruise that took me around NYC. I saw lower Manhattan, a close up of the Statue of Liberty, under Brooklyn Bridge and many other bridges, Roosevelt Island, Yankee Stadium and a picturesque view of the Palisades. I would highly recommend this informative cruise presented by a... More

Experience of a lifetime! Three-hour cruise around the lower portion of Manhattan with extra time devoted to the Statue of Liberty, before stopping to watch a New Year's fireworks show before returning to the pier. In that it was a New Year's cruise, the on-board music was LOUD!!!! A number of passengers, including us, escaped that by sitting outside on... More

I must start my review with how amazing John is at telling the story of NYC. I was blown away by the detail and history he provided along every stretch of the journey. It was cold and rainy, but it did not detract from the experience. My family had no idea what to expect, but I can assure you we... More

Had always wanted to see New York at night and found the Circle Line Harbour Lights Cruise. After reading a few reviews we decided to book the Premier Ticket as it was only $15 more. As it turned out we didn't really need to go Premier as there was only around 50 of us on board (it was mid January)... More

When visiting a new city, we often head for the tourist bus doing a circular tour. In this case, we were on a package tour which, after ten days, terminated in NYC. As part of the package, we had already benefited from coach tours of the city by day and night and, as a final excursion, were booked on the... More

Booked the liberty tour with this company. The tour was amazing at just over an hour. It was really comfortable, warm (-2 outside) and the staff were fab. I'm glad we chose this over the ferry because we learnt a lot of information from the lovely tour guide. Well worth the money

We turned up half an hour before the 12.00 tour was due to start,no wait to get on and it was quite full. Our tour guide was an old guy who looked like the character from the film up who was extremely charismatic and knowledgable kept us entertained so the trip didn't seem to last 2.5 hours and really didn't... This cruise started off very well. We went on the best of NYC cruise. The cruise goes all around manhattan and starts with the Statue of Liberty. You see great views of the whole manhattan skyline and can get fantastic pictures of the Statue of Liberty. I was disappointed in the rest of the cruise however. It was a busy... More

We took the cruise which circled the whole island, about 2.5 hours. We had an explorer pass and booked our tickets at the ticket office at 9am (no queue) and then returned at 11am to board. We were able to walk part of the highline in this time. Its first on best seats and we sat in the open upstairs... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
