Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

There will be lots of people trying to sell you tickets before you get to the actual kiosk for the port. Avoid these people they will promise something they cannot provide! We were told we could buy the tickets and board within 15mins, we were sold the tickets and next thing you know had to wait 2 and a half... More

I took my husband, nieces, and nephew (14 yrs. & 8 yrs.) on the 2.5 hour cruise. It was a beautiful day - great for a cruise. The tour guide, Chris, was exceptional with his knowledge, wit, and delivery of information and tips. The cafe was OK, but pricey. Overall, it was a great experience for all of us.

An excellent cruise around the whole of Manhattan Island with a very knowledgeable guide. The cruise fills in the gaps that are left from all the other sights we saw. There was a suggestion that due to the tide levels on the river we might have got round but we did. There is also an app available that gives details... More

Great experience especially on a cold windy day, when you can see all the wonderful buildings and bridges from the warmth of the boat. A great commentary as well. The 2.5 hours went so quickly and was real value for money.

My wife and I took the 2,5 hour tour at noon and had a wonderful, smooth and informing tour of the island. You stat on the Hudson, go south to the end passing the Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty, then back up the East River ans several of the small islands in the river eventually going back to... I took the cruise right around Manhattan and it was quite brilliant! Chris was an excellent guide - witty, warm, informative. I paid extra for a premium seat and honestly, it's not worth it. Just buy a standard ticket and have a great time

My husband and I went on a 11/2 hour tour on Sunday afternoon at 3:30. Well worth the trip to see the Statue of Liberty and the skyline of Manhattan, the guide is very informative and tells you a lot about the bridges, the buildings and the river, he was such a nice guy with a great narrating voice. He... More

The Best of NY cruise all the way around Manhattan was totally worth it. The guide was fantastic. Definitely make sure you stand someplace where you can hear the guide.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
