This is a large, multi-level candy store. Similar to Hershey's in Times Square, but provides a variety of brands. Nicely decorated, and fun, candy themed music playing. A fun store for kids to spend their souvenir money. They eve had some candy that is sold in other countries. If you're close by, this is a neat store to take the kids... More

If you think you're about to step into Willy Wonka world, think again. The diversity here is larger than your run-of-the-mill store, you can customize your own gummy bears, and perhaps I'm not the target age group, but it feels like it's just a candy store.

I would recommend stopping in if you're passing by as it is an interesting store and should definitely stir up some childhood memories while browsing the extensive candy selection here. We did have a couple of great milkshakes at the top floor café which has a bright candy décor, a good view from the window side tables and the service... More

A definite to stop in with kids or teenagers. Two floors of all kinds of candy treats. They even have Christmas ornaments. A word of caution...expensive! Think about setting a limit on the amount your kids can spend. Hard to do. We spent $55.00 on candy scooped in bags & it really wasn't that much candy. Go downstairs & find... More

This shop has the greatest variety of penny candy for a dollar each. And the cafe/restaurant, while cutely decorated, suggests that Macdonalds, by comparison, should have three stars from Michelin. Avoid 60th street if you're with children.

It's like walking into your wildest childhood candy store dream. I had the Oreo cheesecake ice cream upstairs and I must say, yum! The staff upstairs at the bar was the worst. Walked away after I paid and my friend was right behind me ready to pay as well. Staff was texting and sitting on the counter when we got... More

There's a ridiculous amount of candy, including every sort of gummy animal you can imagine. Make sure to check out the basement, which has an area with old-fashioned candies that aren't easy to find anymore, as well as an area with gourmet chocolates and things. It's a bit pricey, so I usually only buy a bit, but it's a fun... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
