Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Essentially a great bar idea, but all is ruined once you get bullied by bartender Brad, a bitter old queen who can really dance, but has a horrible personality.
I was there a few days ago, the place was packed and really loud, we ordered two beers (my husband and I) and after a little while asked for plastic cups to take outside with me. Brad gave them to me so I assumed it meant I could go outside with them. I didn't know about this law that you can't have alcohol in the sidewalk in NYC, but that is NO reason to scream at me at the top of his lungs and humiliate me in front of everyone. He made such a scene, it was complete Drama for No Reason. Especially when there was a staff member at the door that would've stopped me and explained the rules like a human being.
I felt attacked, punished, and simply put down. How Dare You treat tourists that are spending money in your city like total trash ? Take your aggression out on people that deserve it, go get therapy and quit drinking. I will never return to this place and everyone I know will hear this story.

This is a country bar and over time the staff climbs onto the table and puts on a musical performance.
It's a really fun environment!
Only cash is accepted here, but there is nothing to worry about as there is an ATM machine inside the bar.
The atmosphere is very incredible, all decorated in a Texas country style and the staff are very friendly.
I recommend the Bud Light beer here.

Visited with my sister in law on a Sunday night. Cash only bar, ATM/cashpoint on premises.
Arrived at 10pm. Was quiet at first but filled up within the hour.
Bar staff/dancers were brilliant! So friendly, took time to get to know us both. More than happy for you to take photos and videos of them dancing on the bar. And boy can they move! Little tip, make sure you have cash to tip them as they dance.
Bought a Flaming Saddles t-shirt as a souvenir and the bar staff all signed it for me which was a lovely touch.
Highly recommend this place. Will come back again when I visit NYC again.

This bar is very stinky, and often smells like spilled beer.
Some bar tenders are extremely RUDE and VICIOUS. One bar tender in particular would not allow me to charge my phone using my laptop. My phone was at 4%, and I needed a quick charge. The moment I used my laptop to charge my phone, the bartender shot over and told me to immediately stop. I kindly asked whether I could charge using my laptop on my lap (instead of keeping the laptop on the bar top), and he also said NO. This was despite the fact that the bar was HALF FULL, if not less.
The bar tender told me I was NOT allowed to "nurse" my drink, even though I had ALREADY PURCHASED ONE DRINK AND WE WERE ONLY AT THE BAR FOR 30 MINUTES. So in other words, I would have had to purchase a few drinks per hour to have been allowed to sit at the bar. It was outrageous that the bartender REQUIRED me to drink more than I felt comfortable drinking (or I was forced to leave). When I told the bar tender I was going to leave, he preemptively called a bouncer to try to get me removed. Unfortunately, for both the bouncer and the bartender, I escaped this terrible bar before either had a chance to attempt a forcible removal.

This a fantastic gay bar. Great atmosphere and a nice crowd of people and not too crowded when we were there. Great bar staff and not expensive. The best part of the evening was when the bar staff danced on the bar! Very handsome men in jeans and boots dancing on the bar. Very sexy!

Stopped by for a nightcap on the way back to our digs after dinner and ended up staying a few hours.
Had so much fund watching the barmen strut around the bar and also got caught up in the liquor pour.
Locals all seemed very friendly - and tolerant of four out of towners taking over the jukebox for the evening.
Just a real light hearted and fun bar - very reasonably priced too.

Nothing specific to complain about, but we expected country dancers dancing to country music. Instead, we got dancers (and just because you put on cowboy boots, does not make you country) dancing to Britney Spears. We were disappointed, but clearly others were entertained. We should have known from the name of the place!

Gotta love a gay bar where you are actually greeted at the door and made to feel welcome! From the front door security to the handsome bartenders and bar back in skintight jeans and boots, everyone was friendly and attentive. The occasional line dancing on the bar was an added treat. Great place to have a couple of drinks before or after catching a Broadway show. Will definitely make it a regular stop in future visits to the Big Apple!

Bartenders are always easy on the eyes and attentive! Stopped in for pre-dinner drinks and got a free show at the same time.
