Got tickets at 40% off at TKTS. The Golden is an old theater. It is cramped and small, but that's what makes it perfect for this play. We were seated in the orchestra right , 10 rows back. Great sight lines, etc. We were there...More

What a great play. I would recommend this to anyone who can truly appreciate Christopher Durang's sense of humor. The only thing that outshone the writing was the acting. Everyone on stage was capivating...would see this again.

Chekov's themes of nature, poor communication, alienation, loneliness, impossible love, and wasted lives are packed into the play. The interaction among the actors--each of whom...More

funny, light-hearted - great cast. didn't realize there are 'bouncers' standing outside of stage door, but still managed to chat with DHP as he emerged :) Great play. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

As a frequent NYC theatregoer, this well written and superbly acted play was one of the highlights of our summer. Highly original, one should have some background in Chekov's plays to understand all the inside jokes but it is not necessary especially when Sonia does "Maggie...More

We didn't know what to expect and went to 3pm Matinee on Sunday. Professional actors - Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce and others. Hilarious show in a lovely old theatre. Worth going to see.
