I live across from the park which stretches along the Hudson River. I am so lucky. You will love it, too. You can bicycle or walk on the paths. Or find a grassy spot. I have been having a birthday potluck picnic in the summer. Views are magnificent!!! Refreshing. Lots of activities.

On a cold winters day this is the perfect place to blow away any cobwebs you have. I can imagine in summer it would be very busy but in winter it's the locals and some hardy tourists looking for some fresh air. We walked up to the Chelsea market nice clean boardwalk with dedicated spaces for bikes and pedestrians alike... More

I've passed through this park, early in the morning, when I ran by the piers to Central Park. It's very nice, refreshing, right by the river and peaceful. It's a very nice place to stop by for a nice break, if you are in the area.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
