Picture walking into a colorful, classy, room with a variety of seating arrangements that are all comfortable, conducive to staring at the views inside and outside, talking and hearing each other, and feeling quite beautiful amongst the colors and shapes. Go solo, with a group,...More

We are quite interested in visual arts and visiting museums. Most of the sparsely displayed items were juvenile and unappealing. There was an abundance of glazed ceramics and other pseudo crafts which we truly didn’t care for. However, there were 4 selections which were highly...More

If you're lucky enough to be a New Yorker, you can make an appointment for a FREE day at this museum through your library card's Culture Pass! That's what my husband and I did, and we even lucked into a docent-led tour starting just as...More

The website info made this sound like a really interesting and worthwhile place to visit, with much to see. There are 5 floors and we(myself and 3 others) spent less than an hour, including the gift shop. There were a few items that were worth...More

A range of beautiful, clever, unusual exhibits to look at demonstrating some skilful artisanal work. The section displaying jewellery has some exceptional pieces. There are also things to amuse such as Putins Coronation Crown.

This museum is very small and different than the others. The best bonus is the restaurant “Robert” and the gift shop. Robert is in the top floor and had great views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. Food was very good but it took a...More

Located one block from Columbus circle, this museum is housed in a modern, 6-7 story building. On the top floor, there is a restaurant; however, the day we visited, it was closed for a private function. There is no other place for a beverage or...More
