We purchased front row seats on the mezzanine and happy as the seats are small and squashed but more comfortable as no one in front of us. It’s a small theatre but this makes the atmosphere even more exciting. The only problem we found were...More

I will start with the theatre . The Ambassador must be the most uncomfortable theatre i have ever had the misfortune to visit. I am five foot two tall and my wife smaller and we both suffered cramp as our knees touched the seats in...More

We went to see “Chicago” and it was a fantastic show. However, the tiny seats and inadequate legroom kept my husband and I from fully enjoying the Broadway experience. We ended up moving to other seats that, while still uncomfortable and cramped, were not next...More

We had purchased seats in the rear mezzanine and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to Orchestra seats!!! Comfortable seats and a great show!

The ushers at the Ambassador are professional and friendly. All seats have good views of the stage. It is easy to hear the actors as well. There is a great atmosphere at the Ambassador. The leg room at my seat was a bit tight.

This is more a review of the theater than the show, Chicago. We sat in the front of the rear mezzanine which was definitely in the nosebleed section. We were practically looking at the top of the actors' heads the whole time. The actors would...More

If you can just manage to get seated , and use restroom facilities in advance before arriving to the theater (since they are woefully inadequate), the show “Chicago” is wonderful. Getting there is another matter. Our group of six was getting our tickets scanned when...More

NYC AMBASSADOR THEATRE – Chicago Broadway Musical I had been told by a friend that the theaters are all fairly old and very cramped on Broadway and they are absolutely correct. It’s worse than some of the small plane seating because there is even less...More

This theater was very nice. Easy to get around. The seats felt a little cramped but not as small as our venues.

I guess it depends on how late you are as with any show. I couldn't say for sure what the cut off would be kat

You can call 212-239-6200 or 800-447-7400. There is no direct line to the theater, but you will be able to speak with the theater and ticketing reps.
