We visited Cafe Wha on our last night in New York and really wished we had gone on the first night. The club is amazing the music that night was amazing, this will revisited when we return later this year.

Some friends took us here for beers and live music. Nice evening watching the house band play a diverse cross section of music from reggae, funk to rock. Cover was $15.

Café Wha was somewhere we were always going to visit whilst in NYC because it was highly recommended from a music point of view... if you want somewhere to have a nice romantic meal and a load of beer then this is not your place....More

Discovered Cafe Wha? while trying to find things that I could do while travelling with my teenage daughter. We enjoyed the amazing and talented house band on a Sunday evening when the basement club is open to guests under 21. The music was great. The...More

We had a blast and the resident band is tremendous. They play a broad range of music flawlessly and the crowd is relaxed and fun. Buckets of beer are fairly priced as well!

Great concept - similar to howl at the moon Cover band playing singalongs to a packed room. Bit tough to get a drink and get around - but the atmosphere is fun and its well worth the $15 cover. Go with a group and have...More

here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter

performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

So sorry only seeing this now. The house band always has different feature singers but the core of the band was the same for us over the 3 years we have been. Style of music is fantastic - very much focused on old classics
