Busy bar - great beer but taxing tip!

This is a great place for beer but it is busy! They have 30-60 beers on tap and many great ones. A minor irritation is the prices are subject to tax so are higher than they appear!

We stopped with a client for a beer or two after a meeting, the bar was packed but we found a place and were able to enjoy a couple beers. Selection amazing, the staff knows beer and honestly would stay to try more if we could so many reasons to return. It was noisy making conversation difficult, but great atmosphere.... More

Came across the Ginger Man on a cold rainy evening, the place looked inviting so we shot in out of the wet. Sat at the table the waitress gave us a menu which had black printing on brown background, the lighting was poor and we couldn't read the menu. Walked under the light to read it, ordered our choices and... More

Great beer selection with knowledgeable and friendly staff and it's in a nice old building as well. My only experience of the food was a pretzel and beer cheese which was tasty and a bit of a revelation to me as we don't really do beer cheese in the UK, although I wish we did!

Had lunch here. Disorganised service. Incorrect order served and additional with salad costly and extortionate. Used to be good but somewhere we'll look to miss moving forward.

If you like to receive a warm welcome in a pub avoid this place. What a melting pot of misery. To be fair, the barman and some of the other clients were really nice but the waiters / waitresses were the most miserable bunch I've ever encountered. Nice beer though

I got there during the lunch time on a Friday. Seating was ample and the bartender seemed very distracted talking to other patrons. After about five minutes he gave me some recommendations and I grab some flights. After about 30 minutes the bartender as well as a very nice waitress warmed up to me and I had an amazing time.... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
