What an awesome time. The majority of the acts were hilarious, there some comedians that weren't great but that had some good jokes within their acts. But that's common for a comedy club, not everyone is going to appeal to all senses of humour. It...More

Going to a comedy club in New York City, the West Village, is a must do when visiting New York. Tourists and locals alike were in the audience the night we were there. There is a cover charge; usually between 12 and $24 a person...More

The comedy routines were a perfect length. The band and emcee were great. My only complaint is that they require you purchase two drinks, but the drinks are terrible. The other couple we were with couldn’t finish their mixed drinks either. We ended up buying...More

I tried to book tickets without success. Came to the door with my mother and wife and waited at the stand in line, fully aware there might not be a place for us. Just didn't expect that they would skip us and put someone else...More

We tried to reserve a place for the show on a Friday night but were unsuccessful. We went down anyway and asked to go onto the stand in list. This involves getting your name down as a back up in case reservations don’t turn up....More

I'ts tough to compare this to the original comedy cellar. Bigger venue, comics were good. One great one was Mike Battaglia. Not sure if he was really drunk or just comes off that way. Mike was good and unpredictable.

This comedy club is affiliated with Comedy Cellar on Macdougal. Of the six comics, only one was top shelf. Three were mediocre and one was not funny. The not funny comic admitted he had no routine. It showed. For a bill that was $125, you...More

After an uninspiring trip to another nearby comedy club on Monday night (I'll not mention their name as I'm sure it is usually great) we decided to give New York comedy another try and we were not disappointed. Great room, great service and price. The...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
