Excellent show! There isn't a bad seat at Circle In the Square theater. The show had a good plot and excellent singing. Would definitely recommend!

I saw the 2016 Tony winner, Fun Home at this theater and was blown away at the experience. Since the stage is circular, most seats are ideal. My seating was 4th row from the stage and I definitely felt the energy and emotions from the cast. I recommend seeing any play at Circle In The Square to see a play,... More

A great venue musical theatre. Seats amazing which are enclosed within the stage. You feel the action and see the whole stage. You experience from every angle. Seats are very close to each other in exchange for being close to the stage. The musical act was great, creating NYC stories that New Yorkers can relate to and to create a... More

We were looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon. Wow! In Transit was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the cast was terrific and the story line about life in NYC was so at realistic. We laughed and laughed for the full 90 minutes. No intermission was quite cool! Plenty of momentum throughout the play. We met Nicholas Ward... More

Smaller theater which creates a wonderful, intimate setting for a show. We saw In Transit here. It was phenomenal! It's an all a capella show with the only instruments being the actors voices and one actor that beat boxes. The storyline is great with a very talented cast. Would see this show again if I could. Everyone had amazing voices!

First A Cappella Production on Broadway! It was amazing. You understand the daily struggles of the characters and just wanted to hug them for sorrow or achievements. Amazing little theater, not a bad seat in the place.

We were looking for a show to see while our college aged kids were home for the holidays, and a friend recommended "In Transit." We are so glad she did! It was amazing!! Anyone who has ever ridden the MTA will relate to so many of the "everyday" things that you only experience on the subway in New York City.... More

The music is beautiful, the story is very realistic, the beatboxing was amazing, the actors were so talented and the sets were unique and very creative. The theater is the perfect setting for this show. So glad I saw it. My whole family loved it. I wanna see it again!

Wow! What a great show!! Best costume on all of Broadway is the Subway Diva. (Seriously!) The writing is clever, and the songs are catchy. I walked out of the theater humming the songs -- in fact, I'm singing to myself even now! I can't wait for cast recording!! NOTE: if you're from out of town, take a subway ride... More

If you live in or love NYC, this show is for you. Wonderful singing, terrific story line and you can see well from ANY seat. Not your typical broadway show with the big orchestra and the over the top staging, but this show is every bit as effective in it's delivery. It's New York all the way - fun and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
