This district buzzes with all kinds of nightlife from upmarket restaurants, to cheap eats and through to comedy and jazz clubs. It does however provide a welcome break from the intense noise and bustle of midtown or the Financial district. Everything you might wish to...More

The West Village is like being somewhere totally different from New York. It really does have a proper village feel. The building are great. No skyscrapers. It has a feeling of community. My favourite place to stay in NY.

Despite the building of many new buildings, the old buildings are still in the majority. The boutiques and the creativity that still can be found is so special.

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
