These theatres are a disgrace to New York City, especially Lincoln Center neighborhood. The film quality is poor, screens are retro, the theatres are dirty, the staff surly.

It's been awhile since I came to this cinema. It usually shows more artsy, foreign films than bigger commercial venues. The Cinema areas are smaller and have the regular seats. No stadium chairs here. The venue is underground so one takes a steep escalators down...More

Came here to see a film last Saturday evening. Everything is retro, from the concession to the seats and screen. Staff aren't unfriendly but they aren't warm enough to justify the otherwise dated (frankly, dilapidated) surroundings. I enjoyed the film, the seats were comfortable enough,...More

We visited the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas last week to see "Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer", not because we like the theater, but because it was the only house in town with that excellent movie. There is a lot...More

This is the worst and most worn out movie theatre in NYC. We avoid it if possible. Last night we did go there. Theatre 4. The dirt from the AC was actually hanging on the walls, which are carpet. The personnel must be trained to...More

Hard, uncomfortable seats in various states of disrepair, tiny projector screens, and dirty bathrooms contributed to one of the worst cinema experiences I have ever had. Not to mention, admission was $15! Unbelievable! Do not come here and expect to be comfortable, happy, or feel...More

Indies and foreign and arty American films, you often have a choice of up to nine. Appeals to the West Side intelligencia who used to go to the Thalia. Not pleasant -- rude staff, small screens, long waits because of limited seating, needs spiffing up....More
