Great for blues music

Highly recommended blues establishment. We visited twice in a week and would go again. Drinks only with light snacks served. Great musicians

Visited Terra Blues first time ten years ago and just loved it. Revisited it now, bringing my son, age 16, to show him the club. It hasn't changed a bit in ten years, except that they charged 10 bucks at the door. The scheme was the same as before - one guy playing solo with a guitar as a first... More

Good idea to book a table, which you can do by email - we were about 10 feet from the stage which was great. We saw two acts both of which were fantastic - outstanding music for the $15 cover charge. 5 hours later ... we finally left. Excellent service, especially Luisa, how she manages to seat everyone and provide... More

This place is absolutely fantastic. Great, kind service. Reasonable prices (especially for the great music you get). And absolutely great muscians. We loved it. And recommend it ofcourse. Maybe good to know: we went on a Tuesday night (it was cosy crowded, just perfect). We saw both acts. We paid 10 dollars per person to get in (cheap for the... More

Incredable bar with a welcoming atmosphere made even more friendly by the bar staff. Music was different level and i lost a solid 5 hours in this place. The only dissapointing thing was that I stumbled across this gem on my last night.

Booked a table for a Saturday night - great service and great view of the band however it is small so doesn't matter too much. Saw Saron Crenshaw Band who was amazing. I will return.

Stayed in the city for a couple of nights and my sister and her husband came in for a couple of days as well. She said she wanted to go to one of her favorite places...Terra Blues. So I made a reservation and we showed up at about 8 P.M. The club is quite small and it gets really tight... More

This place seems like it could be amazing... Great drinks menu, friendly staff, performers (Michael Powers and Larry the Lip) were super nice - we were early and spoke with them before the bar opened for a bit. We had reservations for 730 and were seated at a table near the back of the room - Completely okay as they... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
