The Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater opened to the public on November 10, 1967. It is located in the lower level of the Vivian Beaumont Theater building. We have enjoyed a couple of plays here and enjoyed them both. Sight lines and acoustics are both splendid from every location.

We walked up to the box office, knowing that OSLO, the current hit was totally sold out. However, Bob, in the box office, who is always wonderful, wrestled with the ticket system, and managed to grab two great seats for us. The Newhouse is a near perfect 300 seat theatre, and a great place to see serious theatre. The staff... More

The theater is located below the Beaumont at the Lincoln Center Theater. I love the round concept of the theater which gives audiences a very good vantage point. Leg room is ample at this theater.
