There is nowhere else you can rub shoulders with and listen to real insider stories from hip hop heavyweights and living legends like Grandmaster Caz, Kurtis Blow, Raheim of the Furious Five and Reggie Reg.

…and what other experience gives you access to the secret sites that have played a critical role in shaping the hip hop culture?

So, roll out with us.

Other tour companies only show you the typical tourist-y spots and blindly pass over the rich, vibrant landmarks that give NYC its character.

Our hip-hop tours are the best way for art and music lovers to visit sites you probably would have never visited on your own and experience sights, sounds and stories you won’t forget.

Kick it with our crew and you won’t be disappointed.

We’re all about preserving the roots of hip hop culture and that means sharing it with the world – and with people like you.

For over a decade, we have been the leader in providing authentic insight into New York City and its impact on musical innovation. New York City is the undisputed Birthplace of Hip Hop culture and our tour guides are the originators!

Let us show you the city’s hidden gems through the hip-hop lens.

What can i say about Hush Tours other than WOW! My wife and i went on the Birthplace of Hip Hop tour on Sept 10th and had a fantastic time. Was an honour to have a living legend Grandmaster Caz as our tour guide, what that guy doesn't know about hip hop culture isn't worth knowing. The tour took us... More

My wife and I went on the 'Where's Brooklyn At ' tour in July and it was one of our favourite experiences in NYC. Hip Hop education for all! Even if you think you know all there is to know you will still learn something new about Hip Hop and New York history. We went on the Harlem and Bronx tour which was fun and educational especially for my 18 year old son who thought he knew it all! The stories Grandmaster Caz told... More

Grandmaster Caz MCd our time on Hush Tours and it was a wonderful way to spend the day in NYC! I love hip-hip and it was thrilling for me to see the original graffiti, room where DJ Cool Herc first spun, real b-boys in action in the Bronx and the other highlights. But even if you're not big on hiphop,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
