Exhibited this year and had a good location. I did notice fewer booths than in past years. The NYNOW show seems to be sputtering out. Heard a lot of exhibitors as I walked the entire convention moaning about the pricing considering lower attendance. The annex is gone next year so they move the crafters into the main hall. About time.... More

You may have no choice but to eat in food court. Food is over priced & not very good. There aren't any other restaurants close by if you have only 1hr for lunch. They don;t allow food or drinks into conference room. Place is huge. Find out exactly where you need to go. There are multiple floors & entrances.

I went for the NYC Marathon Expo, I liked that it was along the Hudson and at the beginning of the High Line so there were activities accessible nearby.

The Javits centre has many exhibit halls and despite it's size, it's surprisingly easy to find your way around. The staff are very helpful and conferences and exhibitions seem to run like clockwork: at leas that is how it looks to the visitor! The centre is very clean and, with so much glass, it's bright and airy. It is a... More

We had the best NRF event ever, with lots of retailers interested in our booth. The only point that makes the place not that good, is that in the end of the day you can find a taxi too easy, and also the food inside the place is awful.

The services are well organised and the whole Convention center is kept very clean during the exchibition. Staff is very helpful and well trained about their job. It is a great place both for exchibitors and visitors as well.

I've been fortunate enough to attend NYCC every year since 2010, and the Javits Center is quite a place for it to be. This convention center is enormous! As large as it is, I've always been impressed with how clean it is kept, even while there are thousands of people there at one time. The food in the food courts... More

I've exhibited here, and attended a number of exhibits, some of which come every year like an excellent travel exhibition early in the year and others that occur only rarely. The most recent was a major philatelic exhibit, which had many wonderful booths appealing to stamp collectors. I worked at the Scandinavian Club exhibit one day, and was very impressed... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
