From the cigar rolling to the bakery, meat and deli counters, produce to the eateries in the back...this place has it all. It is not overly commercialized like Eataly and you can find almost everything that you need. The cheeses were fresh and beautifully displayed. The deli is abundant with a variety of meats and the barrels of beans and... More

This Italian-American market (a mini-version of Toronto's St. Lawrence) has produce vendors, butchers, delis, bakery, dry goods (lots of pasta), plus a couple of eateries with limited seating areas (Greek, I think, plus a beer hall featuring NY state-produced beers), and a CIGAR-maker!!??!!

I read a write up on Arthur Ave and it sounded better than Little Italy in Manhattan; So we trekked up there. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Indeed there are great bakeries, meat markets, and cigar shops. The retail market is decent. There is no romance associated with this place like Little Italy has. Just a bunch of restaurants and shops within... More

Not really a "destination" if you only have a short time in New York but if you live, as I do, in the city, a visit here is very worth while. Or, for example, if you visit the NYBG or the Bronx Zoo (both near by) as I do often, this is a great place to have lunch or dinner... More

The food and service all over the market is wonderful. At Mike's deli the mozzarella is delicious and you always get service with a smile. The baskets they prepare are very tastefully down and only with the finest products. I highly recommend it.

If you only have a few days in NYC don't spend 2hours getting here and back to Manhattan or Brooklyn. It's nice, I found the best cannelloni and espresso, so it's really yummy. I also found some good Amareti, the first amareti I've seen so far. Go with empty backpacks, have space to carry everything you want to buy, there's... More

Great indoor shops with everything you could ever want. Prepared Foods, cigars, plants, fruits & veggies, souvenirs. Plenty of sit down areas to eat and people watch. A true Little Italy gem.

The market has a great deli, meat market, fresh vegetables and a good gelateria. There is a small beer hall, a place to see your next cigar rolled, and of course places to buy silly t-shirts and "specialty items". Sit at tables on one side or the other, order an antipasti, a good sandwich, or hot dish and watch the... More
