We stayed at the Hotel Metro and visited here twice. Our bar maid Calise was excellent. Busy Friday night and she remembered the round. (We are mid 30's) it's a great bar full of atmosphere

Dropped in for lunch. More of a night spot but garlic fries were out of this world. Turkey club was fresh and very good. Good selection of draught beer. If you pay cash, check change!!

We visited this pub eatery place for a pizza on our first night in New York. What a hit! Trust me! This is a great place for a huge slice of New York with all its culture, noise and vibe. It's the real new York deal. Brilliant atmosphere; the buzz of 100 conversations going on at once, colored lanterns, dark... More

We were staying at a hotel across the road and decided to try The Liberty for a bit to eat one evening. It was a good choice - the menu was varied with reasonable prices and there was a good vibe. It was a busy evening and we were lucky to get a table. Service was good and our food... More

Popped in here for a beer before dinner at the next door restaurant. It was a Saturday night and managed to get a seat at the bar. We watched the college football the local team were playing so the atmosphere in the bar was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Called in here as we were passing and we stopped for drinks and bar nibbles. It had the ambiance of a traditional New York bar. Good service.

We were shopping and got hungry and a bit jet-lagged, turned the corner on 35th street, avoided the kimchi and the pho noodles and stranded at the Liberty. Seated at high tables and ordered prosecco Rose and a vodka martini. Stirred, not shaken. But with a twist of lemon. Calamares to share, shrimp/avocado salad for wife and Liberty burger for... More

Great Nachos! Their nachos are almost fruity! They are great and different and tasty! Their Trio of Chocolate mouse was also amazing. Our server was slow, but it was a chill night so we didn't mind!

My husband wanted to watch the Euro Cup and our hotel was located in midtown. We came across this hip bar with big screens and open patio. We sat at the bar to enjoy the game on the oversized screens. They had a good selection of tap beers, specialty drinks and full menu. Happy hour is from 4-6 but no... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
