We took the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights tour which was a great tour. We left Manhattan and headed into Brooklyn towards Dyker Heights. Our informative guide was both insightful and humorous. She explained how the light show began and why. It was a really great way to get to see the lights, as I don't know how else we would... More

We are two Manhattanites who took this tour of Brooklyn (and its finest pizza) this past Saturday, and enjoyed every minute of it. Marc, our guide for the day, was full of anecdotes and interesting information about all the neighborhoods that we visited -- we were entertained, but also learned a lot about areas of the city that we don't... HANDS DOWN - Best. Tour. Ever. In all seriousness, the two tours I took with Slice of Brooklyn were the best tours I've ever taken anywhere. It's not just the delicious pizza (and spumoni, if you so desire to purchase, which you should) and the fabulous Christmas lights displays that you've unlikely seen en masse, it's the wonderful tour guides... We did the dyker lights tour Dec 2016, it was a fabulous night. Our host Paula was informative and fun, and kept us laughing throughout the trip. It was so enjoyable that we had the ability to walk around the houses safely . It was good to see the tacky lights and also some nicely decorated houses. Would definitely recommend... More

I would highly recommend the pizza tour to anyone wanting to try some awesome Brooklyn pizza and learn a little about Brooklyn itself! Our guide, Marc, was extremely knowledgeable and made you feel right at home with his wit and charm! This was an absolute awesome experience!!

We did the Christmas Lights tour. It was a great way to explore an area we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. The guide was friendly and informative without being over the top and the driver was excellent. The lights were over the top - more is definitely more in Dyker Heights! A fun trip.

The Christmas light tour made for a fun evening. You board the comfortable bus and get backstory on the things you will see. The ride goes fast with videos of old Christmas specials helping pass the time. We enjoyed seeing the lights and also just seeing the neighborhoods. It was a view of life in NY a tourist usually doesn't... More

We've done the Pizza Tour (fantastic!). We've done the Dyker Lights Tour (awesome!). This year the company introduced the Chocolate Tour and it exceeded expectations. I actually learned a lot about chocolate from the bean to the candy/cake/cocoa. It was a nice, laid back time with family away from the bustle of Manhattan the Friday before Christmas. The tour guide... More

Getting three families (4 each) to agree on anything is challenging but the "Pizza Tour", as the kids called it, was a tremendous success. On our last full day In NYC with various ungodly wake up calls scheduled for the next day, we made our way down in three cabs to the pick up spot for the tour. Right on... More

My husband and I made our fourth December trip to New York City with a couple of friends who had never been. He had always wanted to go to Brooklyn, so our travel agent booked this tour. Wow! I know you'll want to see all the sights and landmarks of New York City, but please, make time for this Slice... More
