I knew the storyline before going, so wasn't exactly expecting this to be Disney on Ice, but it was really very heavy and depressing. I mainly went because Tyne Daly is in it and I wanted to take advantage of the chance to see her....More

Tyne Daly is at the top of her game here. The cast had us laughing and teary-eyed at the same time. I wanted to call my mom on the way out of the theatre.

We enjoyed this play that tells the story of a mother whose son died of AIDS and years later is visiting the sons partner. It shows how times have changed and the partner has moved on with his life. The cast, especially Tyne Daly were...More

Characters are not credible, not involving. The mother is singularly conflicted and not at all appealing. Little "Bud" the child of this couple is just too "cute" and precocious. His "story" that he tells the mother is truly not something that a child would come...More

Tyne Daly was really good as the unexpected guest and mother of a son that died of AIDS. My husband and I saw other couples openly weeping on the sidewalk outside the theater. The set was amazing and all actors, including the young son of...More

Fred Weller was truly believable in his role. Unfortunately the other three performers, including Tyne Daly, tended to throw their lines and seemed to come in and out of their roles. Having seen Tyne Daly before we had high expectations, and were significantly disappointed. Fantastic...More

I should not have been surprised at the intensity of the dialogue and acting. After all, it's a Terrance McNally script, and it was Tyne Daly and Fred Weller on stage. I was in the second row, so felt like I was there with them,...More

Having seen Tyne Daly in Terrence McNally's Master Class I knew that I was in for a treat. Boy, was I right. Head over to the Golden Theatre and experience a wonderful play with first class acting all in ninety minutes.Amazing.
