My older sister brought this idea to us and we figured we might as well try it. We chose right! It was an amazing experience. I loved the “initiation shot” they offered every guest. I loved how there were moments of intense and well-performed Shakespeare,...More

After reading all the great reviews, I was disappointed and felt bad for these actors having to do this instead of waiting tables (the latter seems more dignified compared to this). I was hoping to see some comedic brilliance of performers who could truly improvise...More

Was a bit uneasy going up the stairs to this play as it looks like you are going somewhere you would not to be caught alone. However, once upstairs we were pleasantly surprised by the unique atmosphere and very funny play. Some raw humor and...More

If you ever wanted to remember at least one Shakespearean play, this is the place! It runs for an hour and half without intermission. Stage seats are the best and worth paying extra.

I am a theater junkie to begin with, but this was amazing! My husband took me for our anniversary and we had a BLAST! I laughed so much. I think the best part is that you don't have to know a lot about Shakespeare to...More

I have seen this play 4 times already in the past year and every time it is hilarious. The cast is high energy, the jokes and improvisation are smart and clever, and I've been in near tears laughing. Everyone I have taken to seen it...More

The best thing to ever happen to the theater , I am not a fanatic of Live performance but I really enjoy this play will go back. Love the place and is very cozy in the heart of NYC

Best show I have seen in years and probably close to how an actual Shakespeare play was performed at the Globe Theater in London during Shakespeare's time. I think you can assume in the old days the ground-lings in the pit were plastered by the...More

Personal: i attended the performance. It was amusing. Social: It was a full audience, most of them drinking, like the cast, most heavily and interacting with one another and the players. Relevant: Despite the low comedy that inevitavly arrises among drunken revelers, the play’s prominent...More

Convinced my wife to try this. She didn't like it - she loved it! Cast and support are amazing. You can't go wrong with this choice.

This is a hilarious take on Shakespeare. One of five actors takes several shots before performing. It is somewhat interactive with the audience, and there isn't a bad seat. Drinks can be purchased throughout the performance. Not for kids or "tweens" - lots of sexual...More

No food menu. Eat dinner beforehand. They do have several drinks you can sample during the show though. It makes it more funny I guess. We order 2 mixed drinks and it was like 20-22 dollars. If you don't want to drink, it is... More
