Located at 330 West 16th Street, Stage 2 of the Atlantic Theater Company is an intimate theater a few flights down in the basement of the building. (Not to worry, there's an elevator.) The current production of Lauren Yee's superb THE GREAT LEAP takes place...More

This is a newly remodeled theater space in the heart of Chelsea in New York City. It's off Broadway but there's often really important shows that preview here. The theater itself is intimate, and a great space to see a play. The only criticism I...More

The Atlantic Theatre Company Stage 2 on 16th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues is the perfect venue for this glorious look at Nigerian storytelling. A beautiful, engaging play with marvelous acting all around. It has a limited run, see it while you can.

A very powerful play. Amazing cast. The story keeps the audience on their toes. The play is based on events in Russia spanning across a 90-year period with characters stories intertwined across generations.

Is it the space ? is it the performer ? is it the audience ? Does it really matter..... Derren Brown was engaging, funny and still flumuxed my challenging, questioning, psychological mind. The theatre is welcoming, ambient and lends itself to interactive performances. The audience...More

Keep them coming! I love the performances but beware of contemporary interpretations and new theater. I recently saw "Tell Hector I miss him." Playwright Paola Lazaro is amazing and I wish her all the best as I do for this amazing cast.
