Was very fortunate to see Jason Sudeikis last year in Dead Poets Society. This theater is small and every seat is good. Small coffee shop at the entrance.

Love seeing shows in this intimate and comfortable theatre near Union Square. Nearly everything I have seen here has been just terrific -- with HAMLET and THE LIAR being two recent shows that were top flight.

This theater company has been turning out consistently high quality productions for years. After the 4 major Chekhov plays, they just presented Turgenev's "month in the country.". The actors made a difficult play work.

Classic Stage is a "neighborhood" theater that provides classic theater with current talent. They usually have 4 plays a season with added benefits to subscribers. Check it out!

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses

old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
