    Still going strong!
WOW! My 2nd ever Broadway show & this one didn’t disappoint. The theater was cool, great signage for restrooms & merchandise. The show was unbelievable. From the music to the cast. Highly recommend! Love how they did set changes right in front of your eyes, costumes were so cool! A must see in NYC!

    Simply amazing!
This was my 19th time seeing the Lion King in NYC, and it still has the same effect on me. SO emotional, and I look forward to going each time I visit the city. I will soon make it my 20th visit to the show, and my husbands 13th time. If you want a show that will make you smile, cry, laugh, and watch with amazement, this is the show for you.

Magical evening with my husband at the Lyceum Theatre London
There’s a very clear reason this show is rated number 1 in London. This is an absolutely spectacular show: set, costumes, special effects, storyline, songs were just amazing. What a thoroughly magical evening with my husband at the Lyceum Theatre London

    Fabulous costumes and good performance
Been to New York many times but never to see a show as seen many in London. Entered the Broadway lottery and won tickets to The Lion King. I have to say we didnt expect to enjoy it and planned to leave at half time. However, it was pretty awesome and so we stayed. The costumes were amazing, the actors were great, especially the youngsters. The theatre was okay, nothing special like I had imagined it might be.

Must see Lion King on Broadway
Walt Disney's stage production captivates with stunning costume creativity and movements that brilliantly imitate the original animation's critical animals. Each scene transition feels magical. Watching a Broadway show, a dream of mine has been both fulfilling and rewarding. It receives the highest praise among all concurrent Broadway shows, consistently filling every seat with tourists. The family in front of me speaks Dutch, and the family beside me speaks French.

    Amazing musical
This is an amazing musical that can be enjoyed by all ages. The costumes are amazing to the point that you need to keep reminding yourself that these are people and not the animals they are playing. It is also quite impressive when the ‘animals’ first come on stage walking down the aisles. The singing was also fantastic, and it follows the Lion King story line rather closely. If you only have time for one musical, then I would recommend it be this one.

    A great show!
I must admit when we were deciding what Broadway show to see, this wasn’t my first choice. However, my daughter wanted to see it and the reviews were so good, we decided to do it. It’s very expensive to go, as were in the balcony, not in the center, and still paid almost $250 per ticket before all the other rip-off fees and taxes. The theater is in the heart of Times Square to get to, and once nice thing is despite the size, getting in was a breeze and I was afraid it would be a long wait because as we walked around Times Square, we saw many long lines waiting to go to other shows. We didn’t get any drinks, as the cheapest mixed drink I saw started at $18. As for the show itself, it’s around 2 ½ hours, including the intermission. The actors do a wonderful job and even though I (and I’m sure most) of the crowd knows the story, they still did a great job in keeping you in suspense on what is coming next. There are many funny moments, and they even snuck in a reference to IKEA in there. The special effects they had were great as well. I definitely would recommend saving up your money and going!

My husband wasn't sure if he would like people acting as animals, but it was very well put together. It was an amazing experience and we are so happy we got to see it. Bought tickets from Broadway Direct, because they were cheaper than other places.

Amazing show. The vocals of the cast were outstanding. The costumes, effects and lights were superb. Had seen it years ago in London and on Broadway but was as if it was the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Show was amazing BUT the theater seats were awful. I am a big, tall man, 6'2", and they were too narrow and too low for me to be comfortable for 2 1/2 hours. Felt like I was back on the airline flight coming up here.

Don’t go to a matinee performance. The show itself, scenery and costumers were excellent, but was impossible to enjoy due to the constant chatter and noise from school kids. The ushers tried but were unable to control them. Very disappointing.

"Step right up, folks, to the wildest ride on Broadway - The Lion King! 🦁✨ Sure, we had a slight hiccup at the beginning (delayed start) but hey, even Simba had to deal with a few setbacks before ruling the Pride Lands, right? Once that curtain rose, it was a stampede of awesomeness! From jaw-dropping props to costumes that made us want to audition for the animal kingdom, every moment was a feast for the eyes. And let's talk about that story - it's like Hamlet, but with more Hakuna Matata vibes. The music? Pure magic. We were belting out 'Circle of Life' like we were auditioning for our own Broadway debut! And those voices? They could charm the spots off a leopard. Now, about that $28 white wine mishap - (my wife thought he said $10) turns out, even Rafiki's wisdom has its limits when it comes to pricing. But hey, sipping from a Lion King sippy cup? That's an experience you can't put a price on! In the jungle of Broadway shows, The Lion King reigns supreme. It's not just a show, it's a ROAR-some adventure you'll never forget!" 🎭🌟

"Ok" would be the best to summarize this. My partner is a die-hard Lion King franchise fan and was very much looking forward to the live production. The soundtrack was classic, but not spectacular. You really have to suspend your disbelief to enjoy this, which is difficult as your eyes bounce back and forth between the actors and the figures. Worth it if you can grab the tickets at a reasonable price. The others in our party were relieved they didnt get some last minute for $400 each. I'd say I was let down with the Lion King the same way I was let down with Cats.
