The Rivermarket grew from a seed of an idea by private investors into a really booming fun place to hang out. So many restaurants, bars and entertainment! Some of my most favorite places to eat are there. Don’t miss out!
The LR River Market is about a 15 year old investment in downtown LR. Your have very high end restaurants (Cache and Sonny Williams) to mid range and below. Gus's Chicken is some of the best you will find, Buenos Aires and a great new...More
The "market" consisted of a single street of shops, most of which did not contain anything we wanted to stop in and purchase. Much of the street stank of urine and the quantity of homeless vagrants was appalling.

I’ve had to visit Little Rock twice for business and have stayed at the Marriott both times (Statehouse Plaza). I never felt unsafe there, and the hotel has a restaurant in it if you don’t feel like venturing out for dinner as well as a Starbucks for a light breakfast. Have also ordered room service, and they are quick, polite, and delicious! (Priced accordingly, tho!) I have walked around during the day by myself and felt entirely comfortable. I suggest a walk to the Food Hall just a few blocks east, and support some very delicious local chefs! A walk along the River Trail was a pleasant after-lunch stroll for me, again, no worries while I was there. Hope you enjoy!
